In a decisive stride toward deeper patient engagement, IVI RMA North America has introduced two new Patient Advisory Councils, one in the United States and one in Canada, designed to elevate firsthand experiences into strategic action. Launching virtually on December 16, 2025, in the U.S. and January 14, 2026, in Canada, the IVI RMA Patient Advisory Council initiative will meet monthly, building ongoing channels for real-time feedback that influence care standards and organizational priorities. Featuring a blend of patient representatives from each market alongside practice leaders, medical directors, and executive teams, these councils aim to fuse real lived experiences with system-wide planning.
According to Iris González, Chief Operating Officer at IVI RMA North America, this approach will help the organization refine its patient-centered care by listening to what truly matters to the people they serve, driving improvements grounded in authenticity rather than assumption.
