About This Event

The CFAS 2026 Annual Meeting marks the 72nd annual gathering of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society. It brings together fertility specialists, embryologists, nurses, counsellors, researchers, and allied professionals at the BMO Centre in Calgary, Alberta. This year's theme is "Fertility Reimagined: Patients First, Progress Always." It places patient well-being at the centre of the conversation while embracing the technologies and scientific advances reshaping fertility care.

The program pairs sessions from distinguished speakers across Canada and around the world with accepted abstract presentations. An exhibit hall gives attendees hands-on access to the latest technologies, services, and solutions in reproductive medicine. The scientific program is accredited by UBC CPD as a Section 1 Group Learning Activity, and physicians can claim up to 16.75 hours of credit.

The 2026 edition opens a day early with two dedicated tracks on September 16. Launchpad: Levelling Up Your REI Game offers practical, career-building sessions for emerging professionals. The Pre-Conference Symposia feature workshops led by the Nursing and Counselling, ART Lab, 2SLGBTQ+, and Leadership and Management special interest groups. The meeting is also a carbon-neutral event, delivered in partnership with Ostrom Climate.

The CFAS 2026 Annual Meeting combines clinical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a clear commitment to patient-centred progress. Through that mix, it continues to shape the direction of fertility and andrology care in Canada and beyond.
