Industry Leaders to Transform Fertility Care in the U.S. Through Groundbreaking Partnership Making Treatment More Accessible

On March 09, 2026, Costco, Sesame, and IVI RMA North America, the three leaders, went ahead and announced a strategic partnership to change how people get fertility care in the U.S. and remove the biggest obstacles to care for every 1 in 6 Americans who are infertile and want to start a family. The partnership makes it pretty easy for people to get high-quality fertility care in the U.S. along with advanced reproductive medicine specialists. It also offers affordable and competitive prices in addition to coordinated care throughout the fertility journey.

As per Senior Vice President of Pharmacy at Costco, Richard Stephens, "Our partnership with Sesame and IVI RMA reflects our commitment to transparent and affordable solutions that reduce barriers and are more accessible and more affordable for our members. By combining transparent pricing with coordinated care, we're removing the barriers that have historically kept quality fertility treatment out of reach for too many families."

Costco members who sign up for a monthly membership get immediate access to Sesame fertility care coordination, full diagnostic workups, and a clear path to speciality treatment. Every patient starts with Sesame and gets a full intake assessment, coordinated diagnostic support, and a referral to highly experienced speciality care with IVI RMA North America when it is clinically suitable. Patients come to IVI RMA North America clinics ready to focus on customised fertility planning and treatment because they are well-informed and prepared.

Costco provides medication for fertility drugs and offers exclusive member pricing, which can save you up to 80% on drugs like Follistim through pharmacy programmes. This cuts down on one of the biggest out-of-pocket costs for fertility care by a huge amount, saving patients thousands of dollars on each cycle.

If speciality care is needed, patients are sent directly to IVI RMA, where Costco members can get even more discounts. IVI RMA offers high-acuity speciality care like IVF and IUI through its state-of-the-art clinics, which have the highest success rates in the industry. During the process of the treatment, patients keep their Sesame clinician as a dedicated partner when it comes to medical advice, including translating medical terms, offering emotional support, and also coordinating care. This ensures continuity of care and clarity, along with a high level of personalised attention.

Says David Goldhill, CEO & Founder of Sesame, "This partnership empowers people to take control of their reproductive health without barriers, stigma, or waiting. By connecting patients directly with care coordinators and world-class specialists, we're making family planning accessible and delivering measurably better outcomes through coordinated, continuous care."

According to CEO of IVI RMA North America, Lynn Mason, “The presidential order was a clear call to action and as leaders of the fertility industry, we are executing on that mandate. In partnership with Costco and Sesame, leaders of the highest calibre, we are expanding access to quality fertility care and reducing barriers so more people across the country can build the families they desire. Every partnership we form and programme we launch is grounded in expanding access to the most advanced care for individuals and families who deserve expertise and support throughout their fertility journey.”

The partnership will make it much easier for families looking for fertility care in the U.S. to get treatment, find the right tests, and save money on healthcare costs by integrating Sesame's direct-access platform with IVI RMA Network's clinical expertise and Costco's clear pricing.
