Anova Fertility & Reproductive Health, the leading fertility clinic in Canada, has gone ahead and proudly celebrated the commitment by the Ontario government of $50 million in funding in order to expand the Ontario Fertility Program – OFP. Announced on November 07, 2025, by Stan Cho, the Member of Provincial Parliament - MPP this investment goes on to form a $250 million, three-year strategy that is aimed at decreasing the wait times, tripling the access when it comes to publicly funded fertility services, and also elevating the care alternative for patients throughout the province.

As Anova Fertility gets Ontario government funding support, this landmark initiative goes on to build upon over a decade of advocacy by Dr. Marjorie Dixon, who is the founder, CEO, and medical director of Anova and whose contributions have indeed helped to shape the first publicly funded fertility framework of Ontario and also assisted in terms of developing the fertility tax credit. Being a world-class leading reproductive health expert as well as the original member of the Expert Panel on Infertility and Adoption in Ontario, the continued and championed collaboration of Dr. Dixon along with government leaders has indeed been quite instrumental when it comes to advancing equitable access in terms of quality fertility care.

Dr. Marjorie Dixon, on behalf of Anova Fertility, extended her sincerest gratitude to Premier Doug Ford, MPP Stan Cho, and Health Minister Sylvia Jones, as well as MPP Natalia Kusendova-Bashta, for their consistent support. Anova Fertility, according to her, is indeed proud to have been a part of the original funding deployment and is also honored to have received another allocation of the $50 million funding commitment that has been made in 2025. The fact is that this investment is the result of years of advocacy as well as collaboration with the Ontario government in order to advance equitable access when it comes to fertility care. It also goes on to reflect a shared commitment in order to ensure that every Ontarian, in spite of geography, financial status, or even personal circumstance for that matter, has a fair as well as supported pathway to parenthood. This funding is indeed going to enable more patients to finally avail the immediate fertility care that they have wanted, needed, and even deserved.

It is well to be noted that Anova Fertility was founded on the very foundation of inclusive and equitable as well as evidence-based fertility care for one and all. Due to their demonstrated track record of success, cutting-edge laboratory expert clinical team as well as technology, and also unwavering dedication to patient-centered care, they are proud to play a major role in delivering on this bold as well as meaningful initiative. They look forward to helping even more individuals as well as families to achieve their dreams of parenthood, helping to strengthen not just the families but also the future of Ontario.

Under the leadership of Dr. Marjorie Dixon, Anova Fertility has gone on to remain at the forefront of advocacy when it comes to inclusivity and diversity as well as accessibility in terms of reproductive health care. She continues to go ahead and collaborate pretty closely with MPPs as well as government officials at Queen's Park, offering her expert insights and championing much greater quality and accessibility along with equitable and best-in-class patient care.

According to MPP for Mississauga Centre and Long-Term Care, Natalia Kusendova-Bashta, she is indeed proud that under Premier Doug Ford, their government is going forward and connecting more people to the publicly funded fertility treatments, with almost $250 million invested so as to support 25 new as well as expanded IVF clinics, one of which is Anova Fertility. As a past patient of Anova Fertility, she was very grateful for their compassionate as well as knowledgeable staff who helped her get through the IVF journey and attain the lifelong dream of becoming a mother. This investment goes on to send quite a strong message that every couple in their province does deserve a fair and equitable chance when it comes to beginning or even growing their family.

Stan Cho, MPP for Willowdale, says that he is so proud of the work to protect the next generation of Ontarians by the government by way of helping the families grow. Their major investments in the Ontario Fertility Program are indeed going to decrease the wait times and also enhance the access to IVF treatments, almost tripling the number of people throughout Ontario having access to government-funded fertility services. On a recent visit to Anova Fertility, Cho said that he saw firsthand how this money is going to be used in order to help the prospective parents within their own Willowdale community.

It is worth noting that as part of their three-year $250 million investment, funding that is allocated in 2025/26 is estimated to go ahead and support an additional 5,000 IVF cycles throughout Ontario. By way of the Ontario Fertility Treatment Tax Credit, a portion of the eligible fertility-related expenses is also going to be covered, which includes the likes of fertility medications and travelling for treatment as well as diagnostic testing. This goes on to keep the money in the pockets of families so that they are very much able to invest when it comes to the future of their children.

The news of Anova Fertility gets Ontario government funding support is a testament to the fact that Anova is deeply committed in order to advance the legacy of compassionate as well as best-in-class patient care by Dr. Dixon. By way of embracing the diversity and at the same time going ahead and offering a humanized approach when it comes to fertility treatment, Anova is going to continue to partner along with the government in order to deliver high-quality reproductive health services to all the people who need them.
