Flora Fertility and Clue have announced the Flora Clue fertility partnership, connecting the first individually owned fertility insurance platform with the world’s leading women-led cycle tracking app. FLORA policyholders receive complimentary Clue Plus access, while Clue’s community of over 100 million members gains early exposure to proactive fertility financial planning.
IVI RMA North America, a leader in fertility care and assisted reproduction, has unveiled the AiVA AI Assistant, a breakthrough AI capability built on Artemis, the organisation’s proprietary, fertility-specific technology platform. Together, Artemis and the AiVA AI Assistant represent the first comprehensive AI-powered clinical operating system designed from the ground up for reproductive medicine.
The platform is already live. Artemis is deployed across more than 60 clinics in North America, with approximately 2,000 users accessing it on a typical workday. IVI RMA has plans to extend it across its international network of more than 200 locations in 15 countries in the years ahead.
Existing healthcare technology platforms were not built for the specific complexity of fertility care. IVI RMA took a different approach, building Artemis entirely in-house to meet the operational and clinical demands of a large-scale reproductive medicine network and shaping it with direct input from fertility specialists across that network.
Dr. Thomas Molinaro, Chief Medical Officer of IVI RMA North America, explained the reasoning:
“Artemis was built from the ground up because no other technology platform could support the complexity of fertility care and give our teams the tools they need to deliver the high standard of care we are committed to provide throughout each patient’s treatment journey. AiVA AI Assistant establishes a new technology foundation for reproductive medicine — one that brings truly personalized care and can continuously evolve alongside our physicians, our care teams, and the patients we serve.”
Artemis is grounded in the reproductive medicine knowledge and longitudinal patient and clinical data accumulated across one of North America’s largest and most sophisticated fertility networks, a dataset that gives it a depth of contextual understanding that a general-purpose clinical platform cannot replicate.
At the core of Artemis is the AiVA AI Assistant, whose capabilities are designed to solve problems that fertility clinicians encounter daily, fragmented patient data, administrative overload, inconsistent application of clinical protocols, and the limits of what any single physician can hold in mind at one time.
Key AiVA capabilities include
The AiVA AI Assistant sits within a larger suite of capabilities that together form what IVI RMA describes as a clinical operating system for fertility care.
The Artemis platform was built and is maintained by a dedicated in-house engineering team. James DiLella, VP of Software Engineering and Global Head of New EHR at IVI RMA North America, described what the launch represents:
“A dedicated team of nearly 34 engineers has been building, testing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining Artemis’ suite of tools to effectively utilize AI across our clinics and labs. I couldn’t be prouder that we are finally pulling back the curtain on AiVA’s rollout across our U.S. network and the transformative effect this will have on our operations and on patient care.”
Lynn Mason, CEO of IVI RMA North America, framed the strategic significance of operating from a single platform across the network:
“Artemis is tangible proof of use of advanced technology to help deliver an exceptional experience for every patient, at every clinic. Operating from a single technology platform across our network gives us an extraordinary opportunity to share knowledge, learn from our patients, and continuously strengthen how we deliver care and strengthen the patient experience across our network.”
