UNC Health and IVI RMA North America Partnership Announcement

UNC Health and IVI RMA North America Partnership Announcement

One of North Carolina’s leading providers when it comes to fertility treatment and care, UNC Fertility, on February 11, 2026, went ahead and announced its plans to expand to accommodate the growing demand from the growing population of the state and form a new collaboration with IVI RMA North America, which is one of the leading providers in terms of reproductive medicine services in the country.

The Raleigh location of the clinic has gone on to hire many new providers and is also looking to accommodate plans to open some more locations all across the state in a matter of time. The collaboration with IVI RMA North America will bring clinical and operational best practices for patient service in the Triangle and the surrounding region. IVI RMA Global, which is the parent company, goes on to offer reproductive medicine services in 15 countries with over 200 locations.

UNC Health’s Division Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Medical Director at UNC Fertility, Dr. Colleen Milroy, said that “UNC Fertility is proud to serve the more than 2.4 million residents of the Triangle. Our region is one of the fastest growing in the country, and its population deserves the best patient care. This partnership with IVI RMA will ensure UNC Fertility is well-positioned to scale access over time, adding more providers and locations and broadening the types of treatments available to meet the demands from our diverse and expanding population.”

Apparently, UNC Health is going to retain complete ownership of the UNC Fertility practice, with all the physicians and care providers to remain employees of UNC Health. The present patients of UNC Fertility are going to continue to see their already local, dedicated providers.

Moreover, IVI RMA, along with UNC Health, is going to work together to create new opportunities as far as joint research and education programs are concerned. As part of the agreement, IVI RMA is going to partner with UNC Fertility when it comes to UNC Reproductive Endocrinology and the Infertility Fellowship so as to prepare a diverse group of physicians and hence become reproductive endocrinology and infertility service leaders. It is well to be noted that IVI RMA brings in valuable experience due to its present partnership with fellowship programs from Harvard University School of Medicine as well as Thomas Jefferson University.

According to the CEO of IVI RMA North America, Lynn Mason, “It’s an honor to partner with a globally recognized academic medical center like UNC Health and build on their already exceptional clinical foundation and outcomes. We’re excited to work with UNC Fertility as their team continues to grow their presence in North Carolina and the surrounding regions. This partnership reflects our shared dedication to advancing patient care and inspiring future leaders in reproductive endocrinology.”
